Update on April 2, 2020: The Board has extended its appeal deadline from April 30, 2020 to June 1, 2020 but highly encourages all property owners, who plan to appeal, to register their appeal as soon as possible. The Board is processing appeals as soon as received. Click here for more information.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances, the Board is taking action to protect the health and safety of the public we serve and our staff while doing our best to maintain regular access to our appeal processes.
This means that most (depending on the severity of the circumstances, perhaps all) of our staff will now be working remotely to help stop the spread of the virus. This will not affect your telephone calls and emails getting through to us. Please continue to contact us by those methods and we will respond as quickly as possible.
If you have an in-person Settlement Conference or hearing in the near future, we will be reaching out to you to discuss available options.
Update on March 20, 2020: Our offices at 605 Robson are closed to the public. Please communicate with the Board by contacting us by telephone or email.
Further updates will be provided as required. Thank you for your patience as we all work together to stop the spread of the virus.

Help With Your Appeal
We are the second level of appeal for property assessments in BC.
We will first help you try and settle your concerns with BC Assessment. If agreement is not reached, we will decide if your assessment is correct or should change.
This website will help you understand and prepare for the steps in your appeal.
