• Check to see if any similar properties sold in your area over the last year.  You can use BC Assessment's website e-valueBC.
• Compare their sales prices with your assessment.
• Since these properties are in similar condition, your assessment should be roughly the same as these sale prices.

You should not expect to receive a discount compared to other properties which are about the same age and condition as your property.
